Keys to Overcoming Lust

1. Keep your focus on God’s Kingdom—not this evil world.
"Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love the world, you show that you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and the pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world." 1 John 2:15-16 (LB)
2. Find a Christian friend (same sex) that you can be accountable to.
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." James 5:16a (NIV)
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11
